Technical Board launches humanitarian aid hub

SOS Venezuela Barcelona, the Technical Board bringing together Venezuelan associations and NGOs based in Barcelona, has launched a humanitarian aid hub in response to the emergency caused by earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 on June 24, 2026 in north-central Venezuela.

Priority: monetary donations

Participating organizations recommend prioritizing monetary donations given the logistical difficulty of sending physical supplies due to damaged infrastructure and communications. Funds allow immediate purchase of supplies in operational areas of Venezuela or neighboring countries.

Verified platforms

The hub centralizes links to verified donation platforms — Meals4Hope and Spanish Red Cross / WorldCoo — as well as citizen resources for missing persons reports, structural damage, collection centers, shelters and more.
